A face, a work of art, a hope!
Charity exhibition and sale, from 25 September to 12 October 2025, in aid of children disfigured by Noma.
A humanitarian cause supported by art.
The Association d’Entraide des Mutilés du Visage (AEMV), founded in 1979, has been working for over forty years to support people disfigured by malformation, accident, tumour or disease.
Since 1994, the AEMV has been conducting regular surgical missions in Africa to treat and reconstruct the faces of children suffering from noma, a devastating form of gangrene linked to severe malnutrition.
Recognised by the WHO as a neglected tropical disease, noma is more than just an illness: it is a social marker of extreme poverty and malnutrition that attacks the most vulnerable populations, particularly children.
To support these actions and restore innocence to these children’s faces, AEMV is organising an exhibition and sale of original works created especially for the occasion by some fifteen internationally renowned contemporary African artists.
